Not only are the clumps dense and tight, but the compact, sturdy, upright, 2' tall flower spikes are topped with dozens of large blue flowers from late June to early July...a favorite of tiger swallowtail butterflies. Stokesia 'Peachie's Pick' occurred as a seedling in Peachie's garden and, due to her generosity, the rest is history. If you have only grown seed-strain Stokes' asters in the past, you're in for a major surprise!
